Seed Power-Sowing for Success

Have you ever paid attention to an apple?  Sure you have.  Each apple has about a half dozen seeds.  It’s easy to count how many seeds are in an apple, but it’s impossible to count how many apples are in a seed.

Seeds are small and apparently lifeless.  They can set around dormant for years and still look the same.  However, if you put one of them in some good fertile ground and water them, just see what will happen.  Just one of those apple seeds will produce a tree that contains more apples than can be counted!  A single apple, over time, can produce an entire orchard!

Everything we do as human beings is a sowing of seed.  We are living, human, “bag” of seeds.  When we speak, we sow seed.  When we take an action, that action is a seed.  Out attitude is a seed, our thoughts are seeds, and our emotions are seeds.  Those seeds, if they enter fertile ground, will grow a crop.  The question is:  What kind of crop are you growing?

Look at your life.  Your life is a sum total of the seeds you have sown.  If you don’t like your life, it’s time to reconsider what we have been sowing and start sowing the kind of seed that will produce the crop of your desire.

One thing about seeds, some manifest right away and others take longer—much longer.  A tomato seed will manifest in just a few weeks and within about 3 months, you can enjoy tomatoes.  An apple seeds fruit may not be enjoyed for years!  The tomato needs to be sown year after year.  The apple tree you can sow just once and one can enjoy its fruit for a lifetime.  The tomato tree is like a job.  You have to keep doing it to get paid.  The apple tree is like network marketing, you work hard and do it right the first time and then enjoy a lifetime of residual income.

Now let’s get down to business.  How is your business doing?  Is it growing or going nowhere fast?  It all depends on your sowing.  Not only is the seed important but also the ground that you are sowing into.  You can sow your heart out, but if you are sowing seed in clay you are not going to produce the crop of your desire.  You have to sow you seed in the right ground.

If you are an affiliate marketer promoting a certain product, you have to find your target audience and sow your seed into them to produce a great harvest.  If you promote vitamins, you need to sow into a health conscious field.  If you are looking for folks to go into business with you, there is another type of audience you need to sow into.  Just like some plants grow better in acidic soil and others need a more alkaline soil.  Still others need a perfect balance.  Some grow better in cooler temperatures and others like it hot.  You have to learn your market so you can sow effectively.

Another important thing to know is this:  The harvest in always greater than what was sown.  Just like I said earlier:  You can count the seeds in an apple, but you cannot count the apples in a seed.  When you sow effectively, in time, you will reap far more than what was sown.  This is a law.  God always over-compensates us when we sow intelligently.

Too many people get into business without knowing what they are doing.  They sow seed and “hope” their riches will come.  I have news for folks like this, it doesn’t happen that way.  You need to KNOW what you are doing.  You need an education.  You need a mentor, trainer, or coach to show you the way.  Sure you can do it your way, but it will take longer because you will have to learn all the lessons on your own.   It is far wiser to get educated and learn what to do and do it right the first time.  This will speed up your success and give you more time to enjoy the fruit of your labor.

Sowing is easy, but producing a healthy crop takes education, time, and hard work.  If you will take the time to learn and find a mentor to help you, you WILL succeed.  You cannot fail if you do what other successful people have ALREADY done.

A big KEY is this.  Do not give up too easy.  If you are a quitter, then having a home-based business is not for you.  Keep your day job or play the lottery.  How many farmers do you know that plants a seed on Monday morning and expects to get up on Tuesday to reap the harvest?  NONE!  It doesn’t happen that way.  It takes diligence and patience to see a crop come forth.  It could take a couple of years to get your business off the ground.  Are you willing to pay the price?  I hope you are because the rewards are great to those who learn HOW to grow a crop, sow precious seeds, and patiently, but actively, wait for the reward—the harvest.

I hope that this analogy helps you understand the power we possess.  We are constantly sowing seeds.  Take notice to what you are sowing.  Learn to sow effectively and you will reap great rewards.
