Make Your Voice Heard. Your Freedoms Depend on It!

Okay, I admit, this apparently has NOTHING to do with MLM Success, but I can assure you that it does.  I just wrote to my Senator's and Congressman regarding my feelings about how our elected officials are doing.  I took a letter written by a Glenn Beck listener and modified it.  I then sent it to my representatives.  I would suggest you write your representatives as well.  For if you don't, you may wake up one morning with less freedom and thus less of an opportunity to be successful.  The amount of freedom you have is in proportion to your freedoms.  Don't give them up.  Now is the time to fight for our freedoms before our elected officials pick them off one by one.  Don't let them continue to introduce and support policies that will kill our chances for ultimate success and even worse, our children and grandchildren's.

Here is the Letter:

I am totally discussed with what is happening is Washington! The madness has got to stop! The congress was elected by the people FOR the people. It is obvious that our representative are now for THEIR power and bank account leaving the PEOPLE who put them there to suffer more than anytime in my lifetime. I never thought I would see elected officials sell out like they have these day. Stop it! This is what I expect to see: 

I. Illegal immigration. I want you to stop coddling illegal immigrants and secure our borders. Close the underground tunnels. Stop the violence and the trafficking in drugs and people. No amnesty, not again. Been there, done that, no resolution. P.S., I'm not a racist. This isn't to be confused with legal immigration.  

II. TARP. I want it repealed and I want no further funding supplied to it. We told you no, but you did it anyway. I want the remaining unfunded 95% repealed. Freeze, repeal. 



III. Czars. I want the circumvention of our checks and balances stopped immediately. Fire the czars. No more czars. Government officials answer to the process, not to the president. Stop trampling on our Constitution and honor it. 


IV. Cap and trade. The debate on global warming is not over. There is more to say. 

  

V. Universal healthcare. I will not be rushed into another expensive decision. Don't you dare try to pass this in the middle of the night and then go on break. Slow down! 

  

VI. Growing government control. I want states rights and sovereignty fully restored. I want less government in my life, not more. Shrink it down. Mind your own business. You have enough to take care of with your real obligations. Why don't you start there. 

  

VII. ACORN. I do not want ACORN and its affiliates in charge of our 2010 census. I want them investigated. I also do not want mandatory escrow fees contributed to them every time on every real estate deal that closes. Stop the funding to ACORN and its affiliates pending impartial audits and investigations. I do not trust them with taking the census over with our taxpayer money. I don't trust them with our taxpayer money. Face up to the allegations against them and get it resolved before taxpayers get any more involved with them. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, hello. Stop protecting your political buddies. You work for us, the people. Investigate.

VIII. Redistribution of wealth. No, no, no. I work for my money. It is mine. I have always worked for people with more money than I have because they gave me jobs. That is the only redistribution of wealth that I will support. I never got a job from a poor person. Why do you want me to hate my employers? What do you have against shareholders making a profit?

  

IX. Charitable contributions. Although I never got a job from a poor person, I have helped many in need. Charity belongs in our local communities, where we know our needs best and can use our local talent and our local resources. Butt out, please. We want to do it ourselves. 

  

X. Corporate bailouts. Knock it off. Sink or swim like the rest of us. If there are hard times ahead, we'll be better off just getting into it and letting the strong survive. Quick and painful. Have you ever ripped off a Band-Aid? We will pull together. Great things happen in America under great hardship. Give us the chance to innovate. We cannot disappoint you more than you have disappointed us. 

  

XI. Transparency and accountability. How about it? No, really, how about it? Let's have it. Let's say we give the buzzwords a rest and have some straight honest talk. Please try - please stop manipulating and trying to appease me with clever wording. I am not the idiot you obviously take me for. Stop sneaking around and meeting in back rooms making deals with your friends. It will only be a prelude to your criminal investigation. Stop hiding things from me. 

 

XII. Unprecedented spending. Stop it now. Take a breath. Listen to the people.  

XIII. Israel. Do not forsake Israel. It is very clear in the Bible and history that whoever abandons Israel, God will abandon. Whoever curses Israel, God will curse. This is not some religious belief, this is a fact! If President Obama and Secty. of State Clinton continue to pressure Israel to give up land for peace, God will, in some fashion, take our land away. We have been blessed by God, in part, because of our stand with Israel. Don't let our government change that stance. It will cost us dearly and most likely, quickly!

Please let your fellow representatives on the other side of the isle know how WE the People feel. I do not stand alone on this. If something doesn't change, we will change it in 2010 if you people haven't totally destroyed this great country with your outlandish policies.

Are You a Motivated Idiot?

I know that sounds offensive, but it might be true.  I know, because I WAS one!  Let me explain what I mean by being a motivated idiot…

Someone came to you (and me) one day and presented you with an opportunity to make money from home.  After hearing the presentation you got excited! Now this is where the idiot part comes in.  You are motivated and want to make the BIG BUCKS, but don’t have a clue what to do.  Your sponsor tells you to make a “vision board” and to think positive thoughts.  He or she tells you to make a list and talk to as many people are you can about your business.  So you make your vision board, say your affirmations, build your list, talk about your business to family and friends and guess what?  Nothing (or very little) happens and before you know if you are unmotivated and out of business!  Your dreams are dead and your hopes are dashed.  The problem is you do it all over again the next time an “opportunity” is presented and so the cycle continues until one day you just plain give up, quit, call it a day, throw in the towel, etc.  Why? Because you are what I call a MOTIVATED IDIOT (please don’t be offended because there is hope for you...honest)!

We the People - The Pursuit of Happiness

Warning!  The post you are about to read may make your blood boil!  I hope it does!

The main deep-seated desire of mankind is freedom.   Freedom is the most precious commodity on this planet. 

The country in which I live, the United States of America, was founded because of the pursuit of freedom.  Our founding fathers were pursuing freedom from government oppression, freedom of religion, freedom from over-taxation, freedom to use their God-given abilities to pursue life, liberty and happiness.

However, at the age of 53 I am seeing our freedoms being systematically taken away.  The government is telling the people that they cannot make it on their own.  They need the government to take care of them.  The American media is an accomplice in this conspiracy to socialize our country and it is making me sick!

More and more politicians are promoting welfare programs to rob from the rich and give to the poor.  They are promoting class envy with the hopes that the majority of the people will fall for their lies and support them in socializing our wonderful county. 

The latest attempt in taking away our freedom was the recent bailout bill passed by the U.S. Senate and Congress.  Now the government has control of our home mortgages.  Why was the bailout needed?  Because our politicians, in order to get votes, felt that it is the “right” of every American to own a home.  Now they are saying that it is the “right” of every American to have healthcare.  Next they will be saying that it is the “right” of every American to own a Roll Royce!  The Constitutions of the United States of America provides for the “right” of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.  All three of these things are under attack!  Babies are being murdered (right to life).  Our freedoms are being taken away, one by one (bye, bye liberty), and the PURSUIT of happiness is soon to follow!

The Constitution provides for the freedom to “pursue” happiness, it does not make it a right.  It’s up to the individual to create the life of their dreams and thus obtain the happiness that they desire.  It is not the government’s job or responsibility to make you happy!  Every time our politicians get involved by “trying” to make a group of people happy, the chances for obtaining happiness is greatly diminished!  Look at the old U.S.S.R., Cuba, and every other communist (socialistic) society.  Socialism does NOT promote happiness.  Socialism is just a nice word for slavery!   Why do you thing folks in socialistic or communist societies would do anything to get into our country!  They want what we have: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

I have a job and a network marketing business.  I work hard in my pursuit of happiness.  My happiness is up to me, not anyone else, especially the government!  The U.S. government’s ONLY job is to make sure I STAY FREE! 

Here is my belief:  I believe that most of the people on this planet are capable of greatness.  They are capable of achieving all of their dreams.  God has made us with the ability to achieve what we conceive and believe in our mind.  For those born handicapped, it’s up to us to us, as individuals, to supply for their needs.  We are capable of helping others without government intervention.  Mankind is essentially good and willing to help those less fortunate.  What I mean by “less fortunate” are those who have no ability to care for themselves.  I am more than willing to provide help for such persons.  However, I am not willing to give my hard EARNED money to ANYONE who thinks they DESERVE it!  You DESERVE what YOU EARN.  You DO NOT deserve the wealth of others. 

I believe that the news outlets, universities, and Hollywood are responsible to the dumbing down of the American people.   They are feeding the “your owe me” mentality.  We are being fed lies and propaganda every single day.  It’s time to stop allowing them to feed us their B.S. and educate ourselves with the truth.  You owe it to yourselves, your children and your grandchildren to stand up and guard the freedoms that made us the richest most powerful country in the world.   Ignorance is now the greatest communicable disease in the world, don’t let it infect you or those you love.

If you are reading this, you are probably in network marketing.  Why do you want a home based business?  My guess is to obtain MORE freedom!  You, like most of us, want freedom from debt and freedom of time.  We want abundance and know we can obtain it.  You are probably putting in long hours to build your business to make your dream a reality.  Are you doing it so the government can take MORE of your money?  Are you willing to LET them take YOUR money so they can give it to underachievers!  I think not! 

Today, the mainstream media and liberal politicians want to play Robin Hood.  They want to take from the “Have’s” and give to the “Have Not’s.”  They claim that it is the patriotic thing to do.  Recently, Joe Biden said that it “was the patriotic thing to do.”  Well it is not!  It is foolish to hold such a concept!  I want control of my money and give it to whom and where I see fit.  It’s not Uncle Sam’s job to do so nor is it the media’s job to condemn those who are wealthy.   Let’s face it; under achiever never hired anyone!  An under achiever never build a wing onto a hospital.  A under achiever never donated $250,000 to the Cancer Society.  It’s the dreamers, achievers, and responsible citizens that have made this country great, and let’s not stop now!

Stand up!  Let your voice be heard!  Fight for your right to Pursue Happiness.  If you don’t, I am afraid that our children and grandchildren will never know the joy of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Why Do You Want to be a Network Marketer?

Your “Why” is one of the most important factors to determine IF you will succeed in network marketing.  Your “Why” is the REASON you want to or are doing this  business in the first place.  If your REASON is not BIG enough, you are toast!

How big does your reason have to be?  My mentor taught me at least 99.9%.  Let’s say your reason is only at 80% and you run into an 81% setback; you are done!  Most people do not think about WHY they want to take on a network marketing business.  They just join a company thinking they can make a few bucks or even get rich in 30 days.  Well, I hate to burst your bubble, but that just isn’t going to happen. 

Let me tell you what WILL happen:  All hell will break loose up to defeat you!  You will run into criticism, money problems, bad decisions, mistakes, defeats, failures and everything else you can think of.  And guess what most people do?  They quit; they throw in the towel and just plain give up!  That’s the people with a 99% “why” or less.

You better have a HUGE reason to get into this business.  It can’t be just to make a few bucks.  If you want to make a few bucks, get a job at StarBUCKS!  It’s EASY to make a few bucks without the headaches associated with network marketing. 

Wow, am I throwing on the cold water or what!  No, I am just telling you the truth.  I see people join my organization who eventually give up.  They give up, not because they are quitters or lazy, they give up because they don’t have a big enough REASON.

Thomas Edison had a BIG reason as to why he wanted to develop the incandescent light bulb.  If he only had a 70% “why, “ he would have given up after a few attempts.  However, he tried OVER 10,000 times to get the filament to stay lit for more than a few seconds.  Over 10,000 times!  I believe his “why” was 100%! 

If you have a big enough way, you will be SURE to succeed.  Success is as certain as the sun comes up every morning and goes down every night to the one who has a 99.9% reason.  Success comes to those with a big enough reason to hang on when the going gets rough.  NOTHING can stop a person with a reason that is bigger than whatever obstacle you throw at it. 

How do you determine your why?  Just ask yourself two questions:

What do I love?

What do I hate?

Here is what I love: 

I love freedom

I love spending time with my wife

I love serving the Lord

I love having money in my pocket at all times

I love giving without limitation

I love financial freedom

I love travel

I love serving people

Here is what I hate:

I hate poverty

I hate debt

I hate being told what to do

I hate being told where to go

I hate not being able to help others in need

I hate seeing people not use there full potential

These things are so big to me that NOTHING is going to stop me from building an amazingly big, hugely successful, and awesomely profitable network marketing business and bringing a lot of people with me in the process.

I would warn you that your “whys” have to be YOURS.  You have to have strong FEELINGS about them.  If your “whys” are absent of feeling; forget about success in network marketing.   Keep your job; it’s much easier.

Speaking of ease, network marketing is NOT EASY.  There is NOTHING easy about it.  They call it netWORK marketing for a reason!  This business will consume your energy and your time.  However, if your “why” is 99.9% you will do it; you will plug away day-after-day until you achieve your dreams.   You will stay up late at night and spend your weekends building your business while all you “buggies” are playing golf, video games, watching TV, and the like.  But don’t sweat it; in time, you will be on the golf course and the overseas trips when all your buddies are working toward their gold watch!  You will be the one able to call the shots in your life.  You will be financially free while all your buddies are worried about how they are going to pay off their debt before retirement; which may never happen.

I challenge you to work on your “why” until you FEEL it; until you FEEL that NOTHING can stop you.  Until you FEEL that no matter what happens, you are going to work at this until you have succeeded in all the areas of your life.  A fair timetable is 3-5 years.  Are you willing to spend 3-5 years to create the life of your dreams?
