Do All You Can...And Then Some

The most important words that you can remember on your climb to success are: “And then some.”

In today’s society people only do enough to get by and wonder way they get passed up for promotions or their business isn’t doing that well.  They wonder why others are excelling while they are barely making it.

In network marketing, “and then some,” is critical.  If you are in network marketing thinking that you can come home from your day job and watch TV and believe that your business will grow, think again!  The successful marketers spend several hours a week doing the following:

·      Reading self-improvement books
·      Listening to inspirational programs and music
·      Getting on team calls…staying close to the fire
·      Helping others succeed
·      Calling prospects
·      Answering emails
·      Seeing guidance from their upline
·      Introducing their products or services to those they meet.  Notice I did not say giving sales       pitches.  Just recommend the products that you promote.
·      And then some

Don’t do just enough to get by.  Do just a little more each day.  Make the extra call.  Go the extra mile for someone.  Those EXTRA steps all add up over time.  If you make 10 steps a day and I take 15 steps a day, I will be 1,825 steps ahead of you in a year’s time.  Heck, just 1 extra step a day will put me 365 steps ahead of you in a year!  One extra call a day would put you in contact with 365 more people!

When you go the extra mile in serving others, you will discover a multiplied effect.  The Bible calls it, “A good measure, shaken together and running over.”  What you give multiplies!  The more you have a, “and then some” attitude the more you will reap in rewards.  Wealth and abundance doesn’t come to those who just do enough to get by; it comes to those who go the extra mile.  It comes to those who do what is expected of them…and then some!
