The Echo of Your Mind

What do you see around you?  Do you like what you see?  Life is an out-picturing of your thoughts within.  In other words, you life is an echo of what you think.

When you go to a canyon and yell out something, what you yell out comes back, usually multiplied.  This is what happens when you when you think.  Your thoughts are vibratonal; they send out vibrations of energy.  To prove this, have you ever walked into room and felt what we call, “bad vibs?”  Those bad vibes are just the thought or thoughts of the people in that room.  No one said a word, but you sensed something that got your attention.  Have you ever sensed someone was upset with you regardless of the smile on their face?  I have, and that feeling is your mind picking up vibrations of energy from the thoughts of the other persons mind(s) and that thinking effects you adversely or positively.

Our thoughts are powerful.  Therefore it is paramount that you control what you allow into you mind and what you hold in your thoughts.  If you are in a bad mood, that’s just proof that you are thinking wrongly. Change your feelings by changing your thinking.  What you think echoes out and will come back multiplied.  Just be sure what you are thinking is what you WANT to come back!

If you are thinking my business is terrible, no one wants what I am offering and it’s just too hard.  Guess what, that thought will be your reality.  If you want to change the outcome of your life, just change the income of your mind.  Send out a positive thought and a positive echo will return multiplied.

The Bible says, “Deep calls unto Deep.”  There is no way around it.  If you are angry, you will attract more anger into your life.  If you are joyful, you will attract more joy into your life.  If you have an abundance consciousness, you will attract more abundance into you life.

Take heed to the thoughts you send out for an echo of that thought will come back multiplied.    I call it, "The Echo of Your Mind!"

How to Choose an MLM: Ask Just Two Questions

There are a number of companies that are getting nailed by the governments of the United States and Australia.  If you go to www.mlmwatchdog.com you will know what I am talking about.

This morning I was talking to a certain group of men who were commenting on some political issues and one of them said how easy it is for people to fall for the hype and not dig into the substance of what they see and hear.  I had to agree because I see that all the time in network marketing and on online promotions. 

People in general have a propensity to be attracted to the glitz and glamour of the websites they are viewing and never really ask the hard questions:           

·      Would any LOGICAL THINKING person spend this amount of money on this product or service if there were NOT a Pay Plan attached to it?

·      Does the income stop when the RECRUITING stops?

If the answer to question #1 is NO, RUN!  If the answer to question #2 is YES, RUN!  Don’t spend another second being duped by the Hollywood stunts of that promoter.

Just these two questions alone would save people from being overcome by the glitz and glamour; in other words, the HYPE of any “opportunity” presented.

Let’s face it, we are totally hypnotized they the Hollywood hype of these internet Ponzi (Charles Ponzi Pictured) or Pyramid Scheme artists.  They understand the psychology of today’s wealth seeker:  Get if fast and get it NOW. 

Wealth is not, nor never will be attained, legally, in a fast and now method.  You have to serve people with something they want and need and are willing to give you their hard earned money for it.  You have to be willing to give more in use value than you receive in cash value.  If you do that, you will get rich over time.  Of course, you can gamble or play the lottery in hopes of getting rich, but don’t count on it.  You have a better chance of getting hit by lightning and a clear day than obtaining wealth fast and now.

Please do not fall for the hype.  Ask yourself the two questions above and save yourself from being ripped-off by the glitz.

Do You Mean Business in MLM?

Network marketing is a business.  You must treat it as such and let everyone know, with pride, that you are in business for yourself. 

From what I can see, most people treat network marketing like a hobby or they just play around with it.  Then they wonder, “Why doesn’t this work?”  Network marketing works when you work! 

If you are not committed to your business, it will never produce.  Commitment is key.  Commitment means an engagement or obligation that RESTRICTS FREEDOM of action.  Sure, you joined network marketing to become free, but first you must be restricted to enjoy true freedom.  As a citizen of the United States of America, I am free, but my freedom was paid for by the commitment of men and women who risked their lives to fight for their freedom and mine.  To be free you must first be restricted; it’s that simple.

I tell people that you want to build a business that will give you financial and time freedom, you better plan on COMMITING 3-5 years of hard work to make that a reality.  If you are not willing to commit, just keep you job, it’s easier.  Yes, a job is easier, but you will never be truly free. 

Ask yourself this question:  Do I mean business?  I hope you do.  I hope that you will commit yourself to your business and the people who join you. If you do, freedom is just a few years away.  Take the time to build your business big, build it once, and build it pay you, your children and your grandchildren.  I wish you massive success!

The Power of a Burning Desire

A Lesson I learned from Chapter 2 of Think and Grow Rich:

Napoleon Hill calls it, “The starting point of all achievement.”  Michael Dlouhy in his book, SUCCESS IN 10 STEPS, calls it your “why.”  Whatever you call it, no one is going anywhere of significance without it.

In his book, THINK AND GROW RICH, Dr. Hill describes Edwin C. Barnes as a person with a BURNING desire.  Mr. Barnes had a burning desire to be a business partner of Thomas A. Edison.  Though Barnes resembled a tramp what was inside his head was the thoughts of a king!  Nothing was going to stop him from achieving his dream and NOTHING did.  I believe that everything that could rise up against Mr. Barnes, keeping him from realizing his dream, did.  But because of his burning desire (why), anything that got in his way was BURNED to ashes.

Edison was the same, as well as countless others who have achieved outstanding success.  Their “why” was so BIG that nothing was going to hold them back.  It’s so sad that this is not the case with most of those who desire uncommon success.  Network marketers are falling like flies in a rainstorm because they have not faced the big question: WHY?  What is the burning-desire that is going to get them through the critical relatives, the un-cooperative spouse, the “well-meaning” coworkers that are trying to give you sound advice to quit now and stop wasting your money; those who through “experience” will tell you that network marketing is just a pyramid scheme and just doesn’t work, and so forth? 

Well, in times past, that was me!  It didn’t take much for me to give up.  I fell like a Silver Maple tree hit by a tornado at the slightest criticism.  When things got “hard” I would just tell myself that everyone was right; network marketing is not for me.  Heck, can so many people be wrong? 

Straight is the gate and narrow is the way that leads to success or anything of value for that matter.  The road to success is littered with the bodies of people who just lacked one thing; the most important thing:  A burning desire—a big fat “why.”

I am so encouraged by reading chapter two of THINK AND GROW RICH.  It shows that the road to success in NOT easy, but it is CERTAIN for ANYONE with and strong, unfailing, powerful, desire backed by an unwillingness, under ANY circumstances, to give up! 

Well, I can say I will NEVER give up!  I have burned the bridge that leads from mediocrity to the land of achievement.  Though I am 53, and just getting started; that’s okay.  So far, all hell has risen up to try to get me to quit.  I have been discouraged and every thought has come up in my mind telling me I will fail, you can’t do this, you’re too old, it’s too late and so-forth; but guess what, I will NOT fail and cannot fail because I have what it takes to win:  A BIG FAT, LUSHIOUS, BURNING DESIRE!  

Are You Learning HOW to Think? A Lesson from Jay Leno

Here is a transcript of something that Jay Leno wrote recently.  I thought that it would be good for all of us to read.  I don’t care what political persuasion you are; the truth is, we are in a great country, but it is under attack by our media.  That is why I spend my time teaching people HOW to think not WHAT to think.

As most of you know I am not a President Bush fan, nor have I ever been, but this is not about Bush, it is about us, as Americans, and it seems to hit the mark.

The other day I was reading Newsweek magazine and came across some Poll Data I found rather hard to believe. It must be true given the  source, right?

 The Newsweek poll alleges that 67 percent of Americans are unhappy with the direction the country is headed and 69 percent of the country is unhappy with the performance of the President.

 In essence 2/3 of the citizenry just ain't happy and want a change. So being the knuckle dragger I am, I started thinking, “What are we so unhappy about?''

 A. Is it that we have electricity and running water 24 hours a day,  7 Days a week?

 B. Is our unhappiness the result of having air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter?

 C. Could it be that 95.4 percent of these unhappy folks have a job?

 D. Maybe it is the ability to walk into a grocery store at any time  and see more

food in moments than Darfur has seen in the last year?

 E. Maybe it is the ability to drive our cars and trucks from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean without having to present identification papers as we move  through each state?

 F. Or possibly the hundreds of clean and safe motels we would find along the way that can provide temporary shelter?

 G.. I guess having thousands of restaurants with varying cuisine from around the world is just not good enough either.

 H. Or could it be that when we wreck our car, emergency workers show up and provide services to help all and even send a helicopter to take you to the hospital.

 I. Perhaps you are one of the 70 percent of Americans who own a home.

J. You may be upset with knowing that in the unfortunate case of a fire, a group of trained firefighters will appear in moments and use top notch equipment to extinguish the flames, thus saving you, your family, and your belongings.

 K. Or if, while at home watching one of your many flat screen TVs, a burglar or prowler intrudes, an officer equipped with a gun and a bullet-proof vest will come to defend you and your family against attack or loss.

 L. This all in the backdrop of a neighborhood free of bombs or militias raping and pillaging the residents. Neighborhoods where  90% of teenagers own cell phones and computers.

 M. How about the complete religious, social and political freedoms we enjoy that are the envy of everyone in the world? Maybe that is what has 67% of you folks unhappy.

 Fact is, we are the largest group of ungrateful, spoiled brats the world has ever seen.  No wonder the world loves the U.S. , yet has a great disdain for its citizens.  

 They see us for what we are. The most blessed people in the world who do nothing but complain about what we don't have, and what we hate about the country instead of thanking the good Lord we live here. I know, I know.

What about the president who took us into war and has no plan to get us out?   The president who has a measly 31 percent approval  rating? Is this the same president who guided the nation in the dark days after 9/11?   The president that cut taxes to bring an economy out of recession?

 Could this be the same guy who has been called every name in the book for succeeding in keeping all the spoiled ungrateful brats safe from terrorist attacks?

 The commander-in-chief of an all-volunteer army that is out there defending you and me? Did you hear how bad the President is on the news or talk show?

 Did this news affect you so much, make you so unhappy you couldn't take a look around for yourself and see all the good things and be glad?   

 Think about it............are you upset at the President because he actually caused you personal pain OR is it because the 'Media' told you he was failing to kiss your sorry ungrateful behind every day.

 Make no mistake about it. It's time you realize the President doesn't do one thing without Congressional approval. So don't blame the President blame your congressman or woman..

 The troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have volunteered to serve, and in many cases may have died for your freedom.  There is currently no draft in this country.  They didn't have to go. They are able to refuse to go and end up with either a ''general'' discharge, an 'other than honorable'' discharge or, worst case scenario, a ''dishonorable'' discharge after a few days in the brig. so why then the flat-out discontentment in the minds of 69 percent of Americans?

Say what you want but I blame it on the media.   If it bleeds it leads and they specialize in bad news. Everybody will watch a car crash with blood and guts.  

 How many will watch kids selling lemonade at the corner? The media knows this and media outlets are for-profit corporations.  

 They offer what sells, and when criticized, try to defend their actions by 'justifying' them in one way or another. Just ask why they tried to allow a murderer like O.J. Simpson to write a book about how he didn't kill his wife, but if he did he would have done it this way......Insane!

Turn off the TV, burn Newsweek, and use the New York Times for the bottom of your bird cage. Then start being grateful for all  we have as country. There is exponentially more good than bad. We are among the most blessed people on Earth and should thank God several times a day, or at least be thankful and appreciative.'  

With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks,

'Are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?'

My hat off to Mr. Leno!  God bless you, and God bless America!  Thank God we live in a FREE country where we can enjoy life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness!

MLM Starts with YOU!

Most of us start out the same way.  We have big dreams, goals, aspirations and want to make it big in network marketing.  We buy into an opportunity and start advertising.  We buy leads, do social networking, write blogs, get on traffic exchanges, and anything else that we can think of to get traffic and gain affiliates.  Most of us even have a good heart; we want to help others succeed.

We work so hard on our businesses, yet we forgot the most important thing: YOU.  MLM starts with YOU.  YOU need perfecting.  YOU need knowledge of people and the business.  YOU need to be cleansed of all the negative attitudes that have been developing from you childhood and are still haunting you today.  You may think you are okay, but I will go out on a limb here and say that there is probably plenty of limiting beliefs that are holding you back from your success.

Jesus told the religious Pharisees who focused on appearances to cleanse the INSIDE of the cup and platter and the outside will be clean also.  Too often we get trapped by focusing on or paying attention to the results that we desire that we fail to pay attention to what really matters:  the inside of YOU.  How do you THINK?  Do you know that your thoughts produce you living?  I see people struggle to change their outward circumstances, but are unaware that those circumstances were produces by thoughts and deep-seated limiting beliefs.

Successful network marketers have discovered that the true secret to success is improvement of THEM.  They spend a lot of time working on their thought and beliefs.  This is not an easy task.  Take me for example; it took me over 50 years to get like I am know with all those limiting beliefs in tow.  It is going to take some time to discover and train my mind to think in new ways in order to form new and empowering beliefs.

The Bible says that faith comes by hearing.  We need a lot of hearing by dedicating DAILY time to reading life-changing books and listening to empowering programs, speeches, sermons, and the like to expose old believes and overwrite them with new ones.  If you do not do this, you can work day an night on your business and continue to go nowhere fast. 

I used to hate to read.  I know am surrounded by excellent books and read every day.  I listen to excellent CD programs put our by some of the greatest authors and personal development trainers of all-time.  Of course, I send lots of time with the Architect of the Universe and Creator of all mankind.  Since God designed us, it only makes sense to hand around Him!

Personal development is paramount to success in MLM.  So now you can see why I believe, in the beginning YOU.  You need to spend ample time on YOU everyday.  When you do, your outward circumstances will change to reflect your new inward realities. I will warn you; this is not easy and it will take time.  Just be patient, do a little every day and you will see how rewarding working on YOU can be.
